Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Deze voluptueuze Buccella wijn trekt onmiddellijk je aandacht met zijn levendige donkerrode tint en verleidelijke aroma's van cassis, zwarte kersen en pure chocolade. De eerste slok onthult een zijdezachte textuur, een stevige structuur en een royale volle body die wordt aangevuld door de intense rijpe bessensmaken en rokerige tabakstonen.

    Hoewel Bucella hoofdzakelijk Cabernet Sauvignon gebruikt, voegt hij ook kleinere hoeveelheden Merlot en Petit Verdot toe om de uiteindelijke blend wat zachter te maken, en de wijn rijpt 18 maanden in eikenhouten vaten voordat hij klaar is om vrijgegeven te worden. De Buccella Mica Cabernet geeft de liefde en passie van het echtpaar voor het Californische wijnland perfect weer en is een ideale wijn voor bij een speciaal diner of om te delen met naaste familie en vrienden.

    De aandacht voor detail bij het maken van deze wijn is kenmerkend voor Bucella, dat in 2002 werd opgericht door Alicia en Bill Deem. Het echtpaar werd verliefd op Napa en Sonoma toen ze op huwelijksreis waren en brachten vervolgens hun vakanties door met het bezoeken van plaatselijke wijnhuizen voordat ze besloten hun eigen project te beginnen. Tegenwoordig heeft het echtpaar een fantastische reputatie opgebouwd voor hun wijnen van topkwaliteit, die meestal gemaakt worden met druiven uit verschillende appellations en terroirs om de complexiteit van de wijn te vergroten.
