Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    In Binyamin in de heuvels van Jeruzalem gelegen, is Psagot een van Israëls beste koosjere boetiekwijnhuizen dankzij het uitzonderlijke terroir en de vaardigheid van de wijnmakers van het landgoed, Yaakov Berg en Joshua Hexter. De wijngaarden van Psagot liggen op de heuvels op een hoogte van 700-900 meter, waar de zonnige zomerdagen en koele bergbriesjes uitstekend fruit produceren met veel intensiteit en complexiteit.

    Deze Cabernet Sauvignon wordt gemaakt van de allerbeste druiven, die bij zonsopgang worden geoogst om hun frisheid te maximaliseren, en vervolgens gefermenteerd in roestvrijstalen tanks om het pure karakter van de druif vast te leggen. De jonge wijn wordt vervolgens 13 maanden gerijpt in Franse eiken vaten om de wijn te polijsten en extra complexiteit te geven voordat hij wordt gebotteld.

    Het resultaat is een robuuste en karaktervolle Cabernet die barst van de sappige donkere bessen en zachte kruidige tonen van de eikenhouten rijping. In de mond is er een royale volle body, stevige tannines en een soepele textuur met een lange afdronk vol donker fruit en hints van gedroogde kruiden en leer. Dit is een geweldige wijn om van te genieten bij stevige rode vleesgerechten of om nog een paar jaar in de kelder te bewaren.
