    Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Drink hem nu of bewaar hem tot 15 jaar. Decanteren is niet nodig, maar je kunt hem het beste een half uur voor het serveren openen.

    Opgericht in 1923 door 23 wijnmakers in Girlan, in de wijnstreek Alto Adige, telt het wijnhuis Girlan tegenwoordig ongeveer 200 leden onder leiding van Helmut Meraner, Oscar Lorandi en Helmut Strumpflohner. De wijngaarden van de coöperatie, beplant met inheemse en internationale wijnstokken, strekken zich uit over ongeveer 220 hectare, gelegen tussen 250 en 550 meter boven zeeniveau, in de beste gebieden van Bassa Atesina en Oltradige, op gemengde bodems.

    De Pinot Noir druiven worden geselecteerd op de hellingen van Mazzon en Girlan, waar de wijnstokken genieten van een zonnige ligging en ideale hoogtes voor de teelt van deze wijnstok. Na de gisting rijpt de afgewerkte wijn meer dan 12 maanden in een mix van barriques en eikenhouten vaten, en nog eens 8 maanden in de fles. Het resultaat is een cru-wijn met veel elegantie en een lange levensduur.

    De Pinot Noir Riserva Trattman heeft een heldere en briljante kleur met robijnrode tinten. Het aromatische profiel is breed en geurig met fruitige tonen van kersen en kleine bessen, florale nuances en lichte aroma's van zoete specerijen. In de mond is de wijn fris en sappig met zijdezachte, goed geïntegreerde tannines. De afdronk is lang en subtiel fruitig. Probeer hem bij gebraden haas of konijn en kazen van gemiddelde leeftijd.
