    Gelegen in het dorpje Havraníky, in Zuid-Moravië, produceert het Tsjechische Thaya wijnhuis wijnen van hoge kwaliteit die zeer gewaardeerd worden door het publiek en critici. De beperkte serie Apri, geproduceerd met Pinot Noir en Chardonnay druiven van de beste wijngaarden van het bedrijf, heeft de afbeelding van een wild zwijn op het etiket om de kracht en het enigszins wilde karakter van deze wijnen te symboliseren. Het werk in de kelder wordt geleid door wijnmaker Jakub Smrčky.

    De Pinot Noir druiven komen van de Knížecí vrch wijngaard. Na de gisting rijpt de wijn 16 maanden in eikenhouten vaten. Dit geeft de wijn een dichter karakter en lichte kruidige hints.

    Pinot Noir Apri heeft een heldere en briljante kleur met robijnrode tinten. Het aromatische profiel is geurig en breed, met tonen van kersen en rode bessen, donkere bosbessen en gedroogde citroenschillen, gevolgd door hints van mediterrane kruiden zoals tijm en rozemarijn en tabaksbladeren. In de mond is hij evenwichtig en intens fruitig, rond en dicht, met fluweelzachte tannines en een goede zuurgraad. De afdronk is lang en aanhoudend. Hij combineert heerlijk met alle soorten gevogelte en kaas van gemiddelde leeftijd.
