    Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Het wijnhuis Miro Fondrk ligt in de regio Bratislava in het zuidoosten van Slowakije en is opgericht in 2008. Vandaag de dag bezit het bedrijf, dat de afgelopen jaren is uitgebreid en gemoderniseerd, wijngaarden in de Zuid-Slowaakse wijnregio, waar ze inheemse en internationale variëteiten zoals Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc en Merlot verbouwen. De witte druiven Veltliner en Chardonnay worden daarentegen geselecteerd uit de wijnregio Malokarpatska.

    EL & FI IV. Cuvée Riserva Privata is een blend van Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot en Alibernet uit de wijngaarden van Rúbaň/Nová Vieska. De druiven worden handmatig geselecteerd en geoogst. De verschillende variëteiten worden apart gevinifieerd in Franse eiken vaten, daarna 24 maanden gerijpt op de droesem en ten slotte gemengd en 6 maanden gerijpt op hout.

    De wijn heeft een heldere robijnrode kleur en een breed en intens fruitig aromatisch profiel met aroma's van donkere bessen, florale tonen en enkele tertiaire hints van kruiden en tabak. In de mond is hij rijk en complex, vol en krachtig met een goed uitgebalanceerde zuurgraad en goed geïntegreerde tannines. De afdronk is lang en elegant. Het is een karaktervolle wijn die een goed bewaarpotentieel heeft en heerlijk zal smaken bij gebraden lamsvlees en gegrild rood vlees.
