    Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Beaulieu Vineyard is een van de meest prestigieuze producenten van Napa Valley, met een traditie van meer dan 100 jaar. Het domein produceert wijnen van uitzonderlijke kwaliteit die een zuivere uitdrukking zijn van de verscheidenheid van de wijnbouwterroirs van de regio en het rassenkarakter van de druiven, met behulp van de modernste technologie en traditionele wijnbereidingsmethoden.

    Winnaar van meerdere prijzen, Georges de Latour Cabernet Sauvignon Private Reserve wordt algemeen beschouwd als Napa Valley's meest iconische rode wijn, een wijn van buitengewone complexiteit en evolutionair vermogen die zijn naam ontleent aan de oprichter van Beaulieu Vineyards. De eerste editie van de wijn werd in 1940 op de markt gebracht. De blend bevat een meerderheid van Cabernet Sauvignon druiven, afkomstig van de westelijke oever van Rutherford, met een kleine toevoeging van Petit Verdot. De afgewerkte wijn rijpt twintig maanden in 95% nieuw Frans eikenhout.

    De wijn toont een elegante granaatkleur met oranje reflecties. Het aromatische profiel is rijk en complex, met fruitige tonen van pruimen en bessen, bloemige aroma's van viooltjes en lichte nuances van zoete specerijen. In de mond is de wijn rijk en complex, gedurfd en gul. Zijn diepe smaak en volle structuur maken hem perfect bij gerijpte kazen, lamstagine en biefstuk.
