    De Long Meadow Ranch, gelegen in het hart van Napa Valley, Californië, is eigendom van de familie Hall die hem in 1989 verwierf. De wijngaarden, die zich uitstrekken over meer dan 60 hectare, zijn biologisch geteeld. Hier worden internationale rassen verbouwd die typisch zijn voor Californië, zoals Pinot Noir en Cabernet Sauvignon. Sommige wijngaarden liggen rond de wijnmakerij op het landgoed in de Mayacamas Mountains, andere in de Anderson Valley en Rutherford.

    De Cabernet Sauvignon druiven komen van de wijngaarden in Rutherford en op het landgoed in de Mayacama bergen, waar zich ook de kelder bevindt. Na de vinificatie rijpt de wijn 18 maanden in Frans eikenhout.

    Long Meadow Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon is een wijn die een intens aromatisch profiel onthult met geuren van rood fruit als kers, granaatappel, pruim en braam, gevolgd door tonen van kruidnagel, leer en tabak. In de mond heeft hij een sterk karakter met aardse tonen en een frisse fruitige zuurgraad waardoor hij zeer goed in balans is. De tannines zijn zacht en persistent. De afdronk is lang en aangenaam. Hij is absoluut perfect bij stoofvlees van rundvlees, en past ook goed bij lamsschenkel en wild.
