    Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    La Spinetta, opgericht door de familie Rivetti, maakt al sinds de jaren zestig wijn in Italië. Oorspronkelijk boerden en maakten ze wijn in de regio Piemonte, maar in 2001 breidde La Spinetti uit naar Toscane door twee Cru Sangiovese wijngaarden te verwerven, gelegen tussen Pisa en Volterra. De filosofie van La Spinetta is om prioriteit te geven aan de wijngaard, waar ze biologisch en met respect voor de wijnstokken en het land werken. Tegenwoordig is Giorgio Rivetti hoofdwijnmaker en wordt hij door Robert Parker "een van de meest trendy wijnmakers/eigenaars van Italië" genoemd. Onder zijn leiding heeft La Spinetta de begeerde Tre Bicchieri prijs gewonnen voor meer dan 40 van hun wijnen.

    De Casanova Chianti Reserva komt van 30 jaar oude wijnstokken die op zandgrond staan, samengesteld uit rijk zeesediment. De Casanova Chianti Riserva staat bekend om zijn razende, maar evenwichtige zuurgraad, grijpbare mondtannines en boeketten van vers rood fruit. Deze wijn rijpte 24 maanden in Franse eiken vaten en nog eens zes in de fles, en toont een soepele distinctie in de mond met hints van oud leer gekoppeld aan wrange framboos en vanille. Hij vertoont het klassieke Chianti-karakter dat Chianti-drinkers vaak kennen en liefhebben. Dit is een ideale wijn om te combineren met rood vlees, gevogelte en verschillende soorten kaas en vleeswaren.
