    Filetta di Lamole is een diepe coupe uit de Chianti Classico regio van Toscane, genoemd naar het stadje Lamole. Hij is gemaakt van 100% Sangiovese en barst van de geuren van rijp rood fruit, gedroogde kruiden, tabaksrook, rozenblaadjes en zoethout. Hij heeft een gemiddelde tot volle body en een prachtige robijnrode kleur in het glas.

    Fontodi is opgericht in 1968, in de Panzano subregio van Chianti. Het is een familiewijnhuis, eigendom van en wordt gerund door de familie Manetti. Voordat ze overgingen op het maken van wijn, was de familie bekend om een andere Chianti-traditie - de kunst van het maken van terracotta tegels. Hun domein van 130 hectare is nu volledig biologisch en vrij van chemicaliën, waardoor hun wijnen een pure weergave van de Chianti zijn.

    Deze wijn hult de mond in lagen geconcentreerd rood fruit en kruiden. Let op tonen van zure zwarte kers, cranberry, kruiden en mediterrane kruiden. De afdronk is ook complex, met minerale hints van steenslag. De wijn rijpte 2 jaar in Franse eiken vaten voordat hij werd vrijgegeven. Deze Chianti Classico is een geweldige keuze om te combineren met kruidige geroosterde groenten, rundvlees of een kaasplankje.
