    Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    La Spinetta wordt tegenwoordig beschouwd als een van de meest iconische hedendaagse wijnhuizen van Piemonte. Opgericht in 1977 door Giuseppe Rivetti, wordt het landgoed nu gerund door zijn zoon, Giorgio Rivetti, wiens talent en harde werk La Spinetta op de kaart heeft gezet voor uitzonderlijke wijnen gemaakt van inheemse druivenrassen die de essentie van het lokale terroir vastleggen.

    Deze karaktervolle rode wijn is gemaakt van Nebbiolo en Barbera en genoemd naar Giuseppe Rivetti's familiebijnaam "Pin". De druiven zijn afkomstig van de gewaardeerde Bionzo wijngaard in Neive, aangeplant in 1975. De Barbera druiven worden als eerste geoogst, midden tot eind september, gevolgd door de Nebbiolo begin oktober, zodat het fruit optimaal rijp is. De rassen worden apart gevinifieerd en vervolgens 16-18 maanden gerijpt in Franse eiken vaten voordat ze worden gemengd.

    Zodra je een glas inschenkt, vallen de robijnrode tint en de heldere kersen, geplette frambozen en gedroogde kruiden in de neus op. De eerste slok onthult een zijdezachte textuur, stevige tannines en intense smaken van rood fruit die zich vermengen met tonen van aarde en kreupelhout. Dit is een geweldige gastronomische wijn, ideaal om te combineren met vele klassieke Italiaanse gerechten, waaronder geroosterd wild zwijn en wild, maar ook met stevige pasta's en stoofschotels.
