Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    De eerbiedwaardige geschiedenis van het landgoed Manincor gaat terug tot 1608, toen Hieronymus Manincor met de bouw begon op grond die hem door de keizer was toegekend als erkenning voor zijn trouwe dienst. Gelegen in de bergachtige noordoostelijke Italiaanse provincie Zuid-Tirol, werkt het landgoed met zowel lokale als internationale druivensoorten die allemaal worden verbouwd op hun prachtige alpenwijngaarden.

    La Rose de Manincor is een weelderige rosé gemaakt van de topdruiven Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Tempranillo en Lagrein van het landgoed. De wijn wordt gemaakt volgens de saignee of "bloedende" methode, waarbij een deel van de druivenmost, die bestemd is om de rode topwijnen van Manicor te worden, wordt geëxtraheerd. Na 24 uur huidcontact wordt deze hoeveelheid druivenmost verwijderd en apart gevinifieerd, waardoor de wijn een charmante zalmroze tint en een fruitig smaakprofiel krijgt.

    De most wordt vervolgens vergist in eikenhouten vaten en laat men rusten op de droesem om extra complexiteit en een romige textuur toe te voegen. Het resultaat is een lichte en frisse rosé die barst van de heldere rode bessen, room en hints van gedroogde kruiden. In de mond zorgen de levendige zuren en de gematigde structuur ervoor dat deze rosé goed past bij gebakken vis, gegrilde kip of zomerse salades.
