    Deze pittige Bordeaux-stijl blend is genoemd naar Diana Cullen, die samen met haar man Kevin wordt beschouwd als een van de belangrijkste pionierende wijnmakers van Margaret River. Het echtpaar stichtte Cullen Wines in 1971 en was de eerste die experimenteerde met het aanplanten van Cabernet Sauvignon in Wilyabrup. Tegenwoordig wordt het landgoed gerund door de dochter van het echtpaar, Vanya, die in 2019 werd uitgeroepen tot "Winemaker of the Year" door de Australian Women in Wine Awards en Halliday Wine Companion Awards.

    In de afgelopen jaren is het landgoed overgestapt op biodynamische landbouw om het allerbeste fruit te produceren. Deze rode wijn bestaat voornamelijk uit Cabernet Sauvignon met een vleugje Merlot en Petit Verdot, geplant op graniet- en kiezelgrond. De Cabernet wijnstokken die voor deze botteling zijn gebruikt zijn aangeplant in 1971 en produceren zeer geconcentreerde druiven met veel stevige tannines en diepe smaken.

    De druiven worden met de hand geoogst en gefermenteerd met wilde gisten met een rijping van 14 maanden in Franse eikenhouten vaten. In de neus zijn er alle klassieke Wilyabrup Cabernet tonen van donkere chocolade, gedroogde viooltjes en gebakken aarde gelaagd met cassis en donkere kersen. De robuuste, volle body en de goed gebouwde structuur maken dit een geweldige match met rood vlees en hij zal ook in de kelder de komende tien jaar goed rijpen.
