This Albana is a lively golden yellow with a bouquet of melon, apricot, honeysuckle, and wildflowers. The palate is generous and punctuated with ripe peach, apricot, plum compote, honey, and almond. Pleasant apricot and bitter almond on the lengthy finale.

Enjoy this elegant white with Frito misto, fish soup, risotto, roast fowl or poultry, veal, glass noodles with chicken and sesame, or baked red peppers stuffed with goat cheese.

Tre Monti was founded in 1974 by Sergio and Thea Navacchia. After Thea’s death in 1989, Sergio’s sons, David and Vittorio, joined the team.

The Albana grapes used to elaborate this wine are grown in Calcareous clay using a single-arched cane, or Capovolto, for the 30-year-old vines to climb. The grapes are harvested by hand around September 20 each year.

The Tre Monti farm consists of two separate estates. The Bergullo Estate, on the hills of the Imola in the beautiful area of Tre Monti (meaning Three Mountains). The estate is 100 meters above sea level and consists of 26 hectares that are entirely cultivated as vineyards. The Bergullo gets exposure from the southeast and has compact, clay-loam soil that is particularly suitable for the white grape varieties. The Petrignone Estate is on the Forli hills between Castrocaro and Predappio. It is a terrace on the Adriatic plane 150 meters above sea level with south exposure. The soil is mainly clay with loose pebbles.
