    Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Oorspronkelijk afkomstig uit Quebec, verhuisde Patrick Piuze in 2000 naar Bourgondië in Frankrijk en startte zijn wijnbedrijf in de Chablis regio met de oogst van 2008, nadat hij gewerkt had voor prestigieuze producenten als Olivier Leflaive, Verget en Domaine Jean-Marc Brocard. Pluze bezit geen wijngaarden, maar betrekt zijn druiven van enkele van de beste percelen in de omgeving, de meeste van zeer oude wijnstokken, dankzij langdurige partnerschappen met geselecteerde wijnmakers.

    De Chardonnay druiven worden zorgvuldig geselecteerd en handmatig geoogst uit het buitengewone terroir van de Bougros Grand Cru, een van de 7 grand crus van Chablis, ten noorden van de gemeente. De gisting vindt plaats met inheemse gisten zoals voor alle andere Patrick Piuze wijnen.

    De wijn onthult een mooie strogele kleur met briljante tonen. Het aromaprofiel is fris en breed met fruitige tonen van appels, meloen, pruimen en steenfruit, gevolgd door hints van witte bloemen. In de mond is hij fris en mineraal, rond en met een levendig zuurtje. Hij heeft een medium volle body en een aanhoudende en subtiele afdronk. Uitstekend bij geroosterde vis of zeebaars in een zoutkorst, maar ook bij week- en schaaldieren.
