    Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Geniet er nu van of bewaar hem nog een paar jaar in een kelder. Je hoeft niet te decanteren voor het serveren.

    Dit is een krachtige witte wijn, met een verrassend subtiele neus van wit fruit, witte bloemen en citruszeste. Het is het resultaat van een gelukkig toeval - Carignan wijnstokken muteerden ter plekke op natuurlijke wijze in hun witte tegenhangers, en deze wijn is uitsluitend gemaakt van die malafide Carignan Blanc druiven.

    De locatie is Finca les Planetes, gelegen in de onderschatte regio Priorat in Catalonië, die de afgelopen jaren een aanzienlijke opmars heeft doorgemaakt. Traditiegetrouw oogsten de wijnmakers Carles Ortiz en Esther Nin hun druiven met de hand en hun wijnen zijn biodynamisch en biologisch gecertificeerd. De wijnstokken op deze locatie van 5 hectare groeien op 350-450 meter boven zeeniveau, op schistbodems die een staalachtige mineraliteit geven aan deze witte wijn.

    In de mond toont hij kracht en gratie, met frisse, opvallende zuren. Je vindt tonen van citrusfruit en acacia, naast een vlezige onderstroom van peer en appel. De afdronk is lang en mineralig. De wijn wordt gemaakt met natuurlijke gisten en rijpt 7 maanden in Franse eiken vaten voordat hij wordt gebotteld. Hij is perfect om te combineren met delicate visgerechten, zomerse salades of zachte kaas.
