Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Stephen en Jeany Cronk lieten tien jaar geleden hun zakelijke leven in Londen achter zich om hun droom na te jagen: wijn maken in de Zuid-Franse Provence, die beroemd is om zijn delicate roséwijnen. Met de hulp van wijnmeester Angela Muir MW bracht de familie in 2011 hun eerste jaargang uit en verwierf al snel een reputatie voor het maken van heerlijk lichte en geurige rosés die tegenwoordig over de hele wereld worden verkocht.

    Hun Mirabeau Pure werd voor het eerst gemaakt in 2014 en is bedoeld om de "Provence in een glas" te vangen en de drinker te herinneren aan lange zomerdagen aan de Côte d'Azur, waar ter wereld je ook bent. De wijn is gemaakt van een mengsel van 60% Grenache en 40% Syrah, verbouwd op klei- en kalkbodems, waarbij de druiven 's nachts worden geoogst om de frisheid en de aroma's te behouden.

    De prachtige tint van balletschoentjes wordt aangevuld met delicate toetsen van citrus, geplette rode bessen en subtiele bloementonen. De eerste slok onthult een sprankelende frisheid met veel zuren in de mond, zomerse bessensmaken en een zeer zuivere, schone afdronk. Deze rosé is ideaal als aperitief of bij een groot aantal gerechten zoals vis, kipsalades, zeevruchten en sushi.
