    Chateau d'Esclans is over de hele wereld bekend om hun beroemde Provençaalse rosé, Whispering Angel, maar het verborgen geheim van het landgoed is hun sensationele Rock Angel. De wijn wordt hoofdzakelijk gemaakt van Grenache- en Rolle-druiven uit de beste wijngaarden in La Motte en Provence. De oogst vindt plaats van zonsopgang tot het middaguur, zodat de wijn zo fris mogelijk is.

    Als de druiven bij de wijnmakerij aankomen worden ze drie keer zorgvuldig gesorteerd om er zeker van te zijn dat alleen de beste kwaliteit grondstoffen wordt gebruikt. Na een lichte persing wordt de druivenmost gefermenteerd in een combinatie van vaten van 600 liter en roestvrijstalen tanks, waardoor extra complexiteit ontstaat en de natuurlijke, heldere frisheid van de druiven tot zijn recht komt. Vervolgens laat men de wijn even rusten en bezinken voordat hij wordt gebotteld.

    Het resultaat is een serieuze en verfijnde rosé die even geschikt is om te serveren als elegant aperitief of om te proeven bij een lange ontspannen lunch of diner. Het levendige karakter van rood fruit en citrusvruchten en de lichte body maken dit een ongelooflijk veelzijdige gastronomische wijn die goed samengaat met zeevruchten, vis, kip en vegetarische gerechten. Rock Angel is ook een sensationele partner voor verse pasta geserveerd in een romige saus of een licht fruitdessert als je hem tijdens de maaltijd wilt drinken.
