The Manincor La Manina is a unique white blend made from grapes grown in the Vigneti Delle Dolomiti IGT region in the far Northern Italian Alps, near the Austrian border. Crafted from 50% Pinot Blanc, 30% Sauvignon Blanc, and 20% Chardonnay, this light and refreshing wine has a straw yellow color with fresh floral and herbal aromas of sage and mint. On the palate the La Manina displays juicy tropical and stone fruit flavors of lychee, nectarine, and peach, with a tart finish that begs for one more sip.

A subtly textured wine, ripe and vibrant, the Manincor La Manina would be an excellent aperitif wine served with a chilled celery soup, or paired with a grilled salmon fillet topped with fresh herbs.

The Weingut Manincor Estate has a history dating back to the 1600’s, though wine production only began in the early 1990’s. However, the family’s wine-grape growing can be traced back to 1698. Manincor, roughly translated to hand-on-heart, believes in being stewards of their land, and as such has been certified biodynamic and follows sustainable practices both in the vineyard and the winery. The winery utilizes eco-friendly concepts such as using geothermal energy for temperature control, and has a bio-mass plant that uses wood chips obtained from the vineyard and fruit orchards to heat the estate in winter. This has allowed them to be natural gas and oil free since the construction of their new winery in 2004.
