    Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Alom wordt Sleight of Hand Cellars beschouwd als een van de coolste, opkomende wijnmakerijen van de staat Washington, opgericht in 2007 en gevestigd in Walla Walla. De oprichters zijn gepassioneerd door muziek en in feite is de naam van het wijnhuis geïnspireerd op een nummer van de Seattle band Pearl Jam, en hun proeflokalen hangen vol met platen. Hun prachtige etiketten doen denken aan vintage magic show posters uit de jaren 1920 en 1930.

    De Psychedelic van Sleight of Hand is een sensationele rode wijn gemaakt van Syrah druiven, afkomstig van de Stoney Vine estate wijngaard. De druiven zijn met de voet gekneusd, waarna de wijn 16 maanden heeft gerijpt in Franse eikenhouten vaten.

    Het aromaprofiel van de wijn is ongelooflijk intens, met geuren van bramen, bosbessen, viooltjes, olijven, koffie, pure chocolade en enkele laatste tonen van rook. In de mond is de wijn complex en karaktervol, kruidig en robuust, met mondomhullende tannines en heerlijke smaken van bramen, leer, peper, zoethout en wilde kruiden. Hij sluit af met een lange, aanhoudende afdronk. Het is de perfecte BBQ wijn maar doet het ook goed bij gebraden vlees en wild.
