    My Favorite Neighbor is een reeks wijnen gemaakt door Eric Jensen van Booker Vineyards en is gevestigd in Californië, om precies te zijn in Paso Robles. De naam van het label is een eerbetoon aan Stephan Asseo van L'Aventure. Hun meest representatieve wijn is ongetwijfeld de Cabernet Sauvignon, maar het assortiment omvat ook een Chardonnay geproduceerd met druiven uit San Luis Obispo, een rosé van een blend van Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Syrah en Cabernet Franc, en de Harvey & Harriet Bordeaux blend (zo genoemd ter ere van Jensen's ouders). Het bedrijf koopt druiven van lokale wijngaarden.

    De wijn wordt gemaakt met overwegend Cabernet Sauvignon en kleine toevoegingen van Petit Verdot, Malbec, Petit Sirah en Syrah. De druiven komen van wijngaarden met kleigrond in Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo en ten zuiden van de Edna Valley.

    Mijn Favoriete Buur Cabernet Sauvignon heeft een dieprode kleur en een rijp en intens aromatisch profiel met tonen van donkere bessen, zwarte kersen en cassis, en dan hints van kruiden en cederhout. In de mond is hij rijk en geconcentreerd. Hij heeft een goede body en goed geïntegreerde tannines. De zuurgraad is goed in balans. De afdronk is lang met hints van rood fruit en tabak. Uitstekend bij rood vlees en wild.
