    Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Luca is de naam van Laura Catena's zoon en vertegenwoordigt de nieuwe generatie van Argentinië's beroemdste wijnmakersfamilie. Laura's vader Nicolas zette Argentinië op de kaart voor topkwaliteit Malbec die over de hele wereld bekend is en verkocht wordt in de beste wijnbars en winkels. Vandaag slaat Laura een nieuwe weg in met het familiebedrijf met dit label dat het beste fruit van specifieke wijngaarden in Mendoza gebruikt om heerlijke en toegankelijke wijnen te maken.

    De Catenas zijn misschien het meest bekend om hun Malbecs, maar deze prachtige Syrah toont het potentieel van het land voor andere rode druivensoorten. Het fruit wordt zorgvuldig geoogst bij optimale rijpheid en vervolgens gevinifieerd volgens Laura's strenge wijnbereidingsnormen. Na een periode van rijping op eikenhout wordt de wijn gebotteld en laat men hem rusten voordat hij op de markt wordt gebracht.

    Donker en stormachtig van karakter, deze krachtige Syrah doet denken aan enkele uitstekende voorbeelden uit het Rhônedal in Frankrijk. In de neus zijn er ruime tonen van cassis, zwarte olijf en bittere chocolade, samen met meer delicate ondertonen van verse munt, bosgrond en kruiden. Dit is een geweldige fles om nu van te genieten bij stevig rood vlees of om nog een paar jaar in de kelder te bewaren.
