Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Als je op zoek bent naar Argentijnse wijn die buiten de wereld van Malbec ligt, is dit een fantastische plek om te beginnen. Hij is gemaakt van de minder bekende Bonarda druif, die oorspronkelijk uit Savoye komt, maar een nieuw thuis heeft gevonden op de bodem van Argentinië. Deze begint met rijke geuren van rood en zwart haagfruit, ondersteund door hints van rook, eikenhout, sandelhout en cacao.

    La Posta is een uitvinding van Argentinië's grootste wijnmakende vader en dochter duo - Nicolas en Laura Catena. Samen met derde generatie wijnbouwer Luis Reginato en een handvol families die druiven verbouwen, richtten de Catena's La Posta op in 2000, in het hart van Mendoza.

    De basis van deze verbluffende jammy rode wijn is een enkele wijngaard in Guaymallén, die groeit op een hoogte van 2.300 voet en al sinds 1887 wordt onderhouden door de familie Armando. Het is een rijke, mondvullende wijn, met gulle tonen van bramen en frambozen, subtiele hints van eikenhout en een vleugje pure chocolade. Let op rijpe, zijdeachtige tannines, levendige zuren en een lange afdronk. Qua karakter zijn Bonarda wijnen het best te vergelijken met Zinfandel en kunnen ze worden gedronken bij steak, gebarbecued voedsel of belegen kaas.
