    Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Het landgoed Framingham werd in 1981 opgericht door Rex Brooke-Taylor, een ingenieur uit Wellington. In de beginjaren werkte Rex samen met naburige wijnmakerijen en gebruikte hun wijnmakerijen om zijn boetiekbedrijf van de grond te krijgen. Tegenwoordig staat het wijnhuis in heel Nieuw-Zeeland bekend om zijn prachtige, nauwkeurige expressies van klassieke Marlborough-wijnen zoals Sauvignon Blanc en Pinot Noir.

    De Nobody's Hero Sauvignon Blanc is ontstaan uit de passie van wijnmaker Dr. Andrew Hedley voor de punkrockband Stiff Little Fingers. Deze klassieke Marlborough Sauvignon, gemaakt in een heldere en frisse stijl, is gemaakt van fruit afkomstig van vijf verschillende locaties die afzonderlijk worden gevinifieerd. De most wordt vergist in roestvrijstalen tanks om het karakter van de druivensoort te behouden en Andrew Hedley beslist vervolgens over de uiteindelijke blend na uitgebreide proef- en testsessies.

    Het resultaat is een heerlijke witte wijn die opent met suggestieve aroma's van grapefruit, verse kruiden en brandnetels. De eerste slok onthult een levendige frisheid en intense aroma's van citrus, tropisch fruit en subtiele hints van groene paprika. Het frisse en levendige karakter van deze wijn maakt hem ideaal als aperitief of bij gerechten als moules frites, groene bladsalades of gebraden kip.
