    Al in de late jaren 1800 verbouwde de familie Mettler druiven in California's Lodi Valley, en tegenwoordig is elk aspect van de wijnbereiding van het landgoed in de bekwame handen van de familie. Om het prachtige landgoed in topvorm te houden voor toekomstige generaties van de familie, staan de Mettlers erop om zo organisch en duurzaam mogelijk te boeren.

    Sa Petite Sirah is een gulle, volle rode wijn die zich baseert op oud-wereldse wijnbouwtradities om een rode wijn te produceren met veel fruit, gebalanceerd met finesse en elegantie. Het warme mediterrane klimaat van Lodi biedt ideale groeiomstandigheden voor Petite Sirah dankzij de warme dagen die door de Deltawinden worden afgekoeld. Na de vinificatie rijpt de jonge wijn 16 maanden in een combinatie van nieuwe en gebruikte Franse eiken vaten.

    Het resultaat is een heerlijk complexe en intense Petite Sirah die opent met geplette donkere bessen, zoete specerijen en vanille. De eerste slok onthult een gulle, volle body, een stevige structuur en gedefinieerde tannines die deze wijn de komende zeven jaar sierlijk zullen doen verouderen. Het is ook een ideale partner bij gerechten met rood vlees voor wie er liever nu van geniet.
