Ik bestel regelmatig wijn bij jullie. De wijn werd altijd netjes verpakt geleverd, zonder problemen.Jullie hebben een geweldig assortiment! Ik vind de thematische meldingen in de e-mail erg leuk. Alleen een opmerking: het is me twee keer overkomen dat ik een bestelling met mijn kaart heb betaald, maar dat de betaling zelfs na twee dagen nog niet aan de bestelling was gekoppeld.

Ongelooflijk snelle en efficiënte service! Ik zou graag e-mails van hen ontvangen over hun aanbod van verzamelbare flessen en eventuele wijzigingen in dit aanbod. Vooral als ze toewijzingen krijgen van wijnen die moeilijker te verkrijgen zijn (zoals de Tolpuddle).

Vervoer. In de 21e eeuw is UPS, in tegenstelling tot DPD en ZÁSILKOVNA, een garagebedrijf waar je de hele dag op moet wachten. Bij DPD weet ik ’s ochtends binnen een tijdsbestek van een uur wanneer ze komen !!!!

Geschiedenis

Hope Family Wines is opgericht in 1978 en is gevestigd in de stad Paso Robles, dat deel uitmaakt van de San Luis Obispo County in Californië. De county zelf is de thuisbasis van vele wijnhuizen en wijngaarden, met meer dan 25 druivensoorten die alleen al in de Paso Robles Wine County groeien. Hope Family Wines is een familiebedrijf gebleven sinds de oprichting door het echtpaar Chuck en Marlyn Hope. Ze kochten het land eind jaren zeventig en begonnen met het planten van druiven en appels, zich niet bewust van het waardevolle terrein dat ze hadden verworven. In de loop der jaren zouden ze geleidelijk afstand nemen van de appelboomgaarden en zich fulltime toeleggen op de productie van kwaliteitswijnen waar de Central Coast bekend om staat.

Hope Family wines heeft vijf labels onder hun beheer: Candor, Troublemaker, Liberty School, Austin Hope en Treana. Austin Hope, de zoon van de eigenaren, is de hoofdwijnmaker en president van Hope Family Wines. Hij hielp het bedrijf groeien van een productie van 20.000 kisten per jaar naar meer dan 300.000 kisten per jaar. Als middel om de drinkbaarheid en complexiteit te vergroten, begonnen ze in 2008 met de introductie van multi-vintage blends met Candor Wines. Met het succes van deze onderneming gingen ze door met multi-vintage blend met de lancering van Troublemaker in 2010. De dichtheid van de wijnstokken is in de loop der jaren toegenomen om de hoeveelheid druiven die elke wijnstok moet aanmaken te verminderen.
