    De familie Chiarlo maakt al sinds 1956 uitzonderlijke Piemontese wijnen op hun landgoed, en vandaag de dag worden ze in de regio zeer gerespecteerd vanwege hun inzet voor duurzaamheid en terroir-gedreven premium wijnmaken. In totaal heeft de familie 60 hectare wijngaard en toegang tot nog eens 50 hectare dankzij hun langdurige relaties met lokale telers.

    Een van hun meest gewilde wijnen is deze aantrekkelijke Moscato d'Asti uit Nivole, die beschikt over ideale groeiomstandigheden voor het ras. De wijnstokken staan op goed doorlatende zandgrond met blootstelling aan het zuidoosten en zuidwesten, waardoor de druiven volledig kunnen rijpen. Om de delicate aroma's van de Moscato te behouden, wordt het fruit gefermenteerd in roestvrijstalen tanks met temperatuurregeling, die een deel van het vrijkomende koolzuurgas opvangen en de wijn zijn natuurlijke lichte bruis geven. Met zijn heldere bloemen- en citrustonen in de neus en verleidelijke rijpe perzik- en abrikozensmaken is dit een geweldige wijn om te serveren als aperitief of als partner van verse zeevruchten, bladgroenten en zelfs pittige Aziatische gerechten.
