    Geniet er nu van of bewaar hem nog een paar jaar in een kelder. Decanteren voor het serveren is niet nodig.

    Barstensvol tonen van vers gemaaid gras, citroenschil, tropisch fruit en zilte mineraliteit is dit een klassieke Nieuw-Zeelandse Sauvignon Blanc. Het fruit is geoogst in de gewaardeerde Marlborough regio, een ruig stuk land waar het Loveblock wijnhuis zijn thuisbasis heeft.

    Loveblock is opgericht door de Crawfords, een man en vrouw wijnmakersduo. Erica is Zuid-Afrikaanse en Kim is Nieuw-Zeelander - de twee ontmoetten elkaar tijdens hun werk bij Backsberg Estate in Zuid-Afrika, voordat ze terugkeerden naar Kims thuisregio Waikato. Na het opbouwen en verkopen van hun eerste zeer succesvolle wijnmerk in negen jaar tijd, is Loveblock hun passieproject. Het is een duurzaam familiebedrijf, gevestigd in het hart van Marlborough.

    In de mond is deze Sauvignon Blanc bijzonder levendig, met een verbluffende zuurgraad en frisse tonen van citrusschil, ananas en basilicum. Hij is afkomstig van één wijngaard, Woolshed, die zich bevindt op de Loveblock Farm. Afzonderlijke delen van de druiven werden gefermenteerd in verschillende vaten, waaronder betonnen eieren, amforen, roestvrijstalen tanks en Franse eiken vaten. Deze verfrissende droge witte wijn is perfect om te combineren met zeevruchten, knapperige zomerse salades of zachte kaas.
