    Josue Terre Siciliane is een zijproject van het wijnhuis La Bollina, gevolgd door de oenoloog Andrea Bernardini die de kenmerken van de Italiaanse inheemse druivenrassen heel goed kent. In Sicilië, het hart van het thuisland van de Nero d'Avola druif, voelde de oenoloog het potentieel van de fusie met Cabernet Sauvignon: de fruitige dimensie van Nero d'Avola wordt perfect gecombineerd met de kruidige persoonlijkheid van Cabernet. Het resultaat kan alleen maar een bijzondere cuvée zijn!

    De Italiaanse criticus Luca Maroni kende hem 99 punten toe, en de jury van de Mundus Vini proefwedstrijd kende hem de Grand GOLD medaille en de titel 'Best of Show' toe.Zijn intense robijnrode kleur is een lust voor het oog.

    Het bouquet verleidt met aroma's van kersen en morellen die typisch zijn voor Nero d'Avola, maar ook van bosbessen, rozemarijn en roze peper die te danken zijn aan Cabernet Sauvignon. De wijn, die 9 maanden rijpte in de beste Franse eiken vaten, is zeer elegant, krachtig, maar niet overladen, zijdeachtig en met een fantastische lengte. Deze intense cuvée vraagt om een stevige begeleiding. Kalfsvlees, lamsvlees, maar ook wild, of een gerijpte Pecorino werken vanwege de pittige dimensie.
