    Opgericht door vier vrienden Roberto Santana, Alfonso Torrente, Laura Ramos en José Martínez, allen oenologen die afgestudeerd zijn aan de Miguel Hernández de Elx Universiteit van Elche, is Envinate een wijnhuis van topniveau, gevestigd in La Roda in Castilla La Mancha en producties verspreid over verschillende regio's van Spanje. De wijngaarden van de Almansa worden gevolgd en beheerd door José Martínez. Het bedrijf werkt ook samen met lokale producenten.

    Albahra is een wijn gemaakt van een blend van 70% Garnacha Tintorera en 30% Moravia Agria. De druiven komen van wijngaarden op 800 meter hoogte in Almansa bij Albacete in Castilla-La Mancha op klei-kalkachtige grond. Ze worden met de hand geoogst en apart per perceel gevinifieerd.

    Envinate Albahra is een heerlijke rode wijn met een sterke mediterrane invloed en een perfecte balans van fris rood fruit zoals cassis, en rokerige en kruidige smaken van zwarte peper en nootmuskaat. In de mond onthult de wijn een uitstekende zuurgraad en een grote drinkbaarheid met subtiele en goed geïntegreerde tannines en een goede fruitconcentratie. Het is de perfecte wijn bij lamsvlees, maar doet het ook uitstekend bij een paddenstoelenrisotto of een kipfricassee.
