    Agincourt is een blend van Franse druiven, gerijpt onder de brandende Australische zon. Cabernet sauvignon maakt 75% uit, Malbec de overige 25%, en samen vormen ze een bedwelmend bouquet van rijpe pruimen, bramen, rode bessen en gedroogde kruiden, in balans gebracht door frisse hints van eucalyptus en vers geknipte heg.

    Yarra Yering werd in 1973 opgericht door Dr. Bailey Carrodus, een inwoner van Australië en een van de eerste pioniers die moderne wijnen maakte in Yarra Valley, in het zuidoosten van Australië. De eerste jaargang van Yarra Yering was ook de eerste commerciële wijn die in Yarra Valley werd gemaakt sinds 1929. Tegenwoordig staat het wijnhuis onder leiding van Sarah Crowe, die het landgoed in 2022 naar de James Halliday Winery of the Year en Wine of the Year leidde.

    In de mond mengen klassieke Cabernet tonen van wrange zwarte en rode bessen zich met rokerige tonen van pruimen, afkomstig van de Malbec. Het is weelderig en diep in de mond, met dichte, hoekige tannines en sappige zuren. Het mengsel onderging malolactische gisting en 18 maanden rijping in Franse eiken vaten voordat het werd vrijgegeven, waardoor het een subtiele eiken textuur kreeg. Overweeg om Agincourt te combineren met een kleverige barbecue, een rijke steak of geroosterde groenten.
