    Henschke is een wijnhuis uit Zuid-Australië met een rijk wijnbouwerfgoed. Leden van de familie Henschke voorzien Zuid-Australië al meer dan 150 jaar van uitstekende wijn, lang voordat de regio internationale erkenning kreeg.

    Henschke gaat nu zijn zesde generatie in en wordt geleid door man en vrouw Stephen en Prue en hun drie kinderen, die zelf getalenteerde wijnbouwers zijn. De aanpak van de familie is eenvoudig: ze zorgen voor het land, en het land levert op zijn beurt kwaliteitsdruiven voor een prachtige reeks Zuid-Australische wijnen.

    De Keyneton Euphonium is een diep scharlakenrode blend van Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon en Cabernet Franc, met een scheutje Merlot. De neus is diep en gul, met prominente tonen van cassis, pruimen en chocolade, ondersteund door kruidige tonen van tomatenblad en eucalyptus. In de mond heeft hij een indrukwekkende concentratie, met een rond en fluweelachtig mondgevoel. Bosbessen en rijke pruimen worden ondersteund door tonen van witte peper en zoethout. Dit is een klassieke smaak van de Barossa, gemaakt met fruit uit de Barossa en Eden Valley. Hij past perfect bij een gebraden lamsbout, oude harde kazen of een schaal olijven.
