    Olaf en Eka zijn het enthousiaste echtpaar dat het wijnhuis Danieli runt. De biologisch geteelde druiven worden zorgvuldig geselecteerd uit op het zuiden gelegen wijngaarden in de glooiende uitlopers van het Kaukasusgebergte, in de belangrijkste Noordwest-Georgische wijnregio Khakheti, bij het kleine dorpje Argohky.

    Naast Kisi produceert het wijnhuis Danieli wijnen op basis van andere inheemse witte druivenrassen zoals Mtsvane en Rkatsiteli, en het edele ras Mukuzani di Saperavi.De Danieli Kisi wordt gemaakt met 100% Kisi druif, een inheemse witte variëteit met oude oorsprong, afkomstig uit het gebied van Kakheti, een van de meest prestigieuze wijngebieden van Georgië. Ondanks zijn hoge kwaliteit was de druif tot 2000 verlaten en bijna uitgestorven, mede door de achteruitgang van de Georgische wijngaarden na de ineenstorting van de Sovjet-Unie, maar hij is onlangs herontdekt.

    Deze Kisi wijn in Europese stijl heeft een mooie strokleur en intense tonen van tropisch fruit, peer, appel, perzik en meloen. De smaak is fris en droog met medium alcohol en evenwichtige tannines. Hij is knapperig op de afdronk en gemakkelijk te drinken. Probeer hem bij zeevruchten of gestoomde vis.
