Bin Nun, gelegen in de Judeaanse Heuvels, is een gerenommeerde Israëlische boetiekwijnmakerij die in 2012 is opgericht en een breed assortiment aan uitstekende koosjere wijnen produceert. Het landgoed heeft wijngaarden in de Ayalon-vallei, beplant met Franse en Italiaanse druivensoorten op zware, kalkrijke grond. Dankzij de gunstige bodem- en klimaatomstandigheden hebben deze gebieden een lange wijnbouwtraditie die al eeuwen teruggaat.

Bin Nun Reserve is een blend in Bordeaux-stijl van Cabernet Sauvignon en Merlot, met een klein beetje Cabernet Franc en Petit Verdot, afkomstig van één enkele wijngaard in Givat Yeshayahu. Na een zorgvuldige selectie in de rijen, handmatige oogst en vinificatie rijpt de wijn een jaar lang in Frans eiken.

Het resultaat is een rijke en makkelijk drinkbare wijn met een breed en geurig aroma, waarin tonen van bramen, aalbessen en kleine wilde bessen naar voren komen, gevolgd door hints van zoethout, kruiden en leer. In de mond is hij zacht en vol, evenwichtig en elegant. Hij heeft een volle body, zachte tannines en een verfrissende zuurgraad. Hij is soepel en complex met een lange afdronk die de aroma’s uit de neus weerspiegelt. Probeer hem eens bij ossenhaas met champignons.
