UPS was verschrikkelijk. Eerst gaven ze de verwachte bezorgdatum door, en daarna lieten ze mijn vrouw de hele dag wachten om uiteindelijk zonder enige waarschuwing (!) niet te bezorgen. Pas de volgende ochtend lieten ze weten dat de verwachte bezorgdatum was gewijzigd (!) en deze keer lukte het wel. Een hele dag verspild, geen mogelijkheid om de koerier te bellen. Vreselijke ervaring! Arrogante klootzakken.

Geschiedenis

De eerste vermelding van het landgoed Ca Dei Frati dateert al van 1782, hoewel het moderne wijnhuis pas in 1939 vorm begon te krijgen. Felice Dal Cero herkende het uitstekende wijnbouwpotentieel van Lugana aan de oevers van het Gardameer en begon wijngaarden aan te planten om zijn droom te verwezenlijken.

Het wijnhuis wordt tegenwoordig gerund door de drie kleinkinderen van Felice en wordt algemeen beschouwd als het beste wijnhuis van Lugana met ongeveer 200 hectare wijngaarden.
