Geschiedenis

De Bogles zijn al sinds de jaren 1870 boeren in Clarksburg, toen infanterist kapitein AJ Boyle en zijn neef, Samuel, hun geboorteland Tennessee verlieten voor Californië. De vierde generatie van de Bogle familie begon druiven te verbouwen die werden doorverkocht aan plaatselijke wijnhuizen, totdat de Bogles in 1978 begonnen met het maken van hun eigen wijn. Sindsdien heeft de familie zich toegelegd op het uitbreiden en verfijnen van hun wijnmakerij en een cultus opgebouwd van wijnliefhebbers die dol zijn op hun wijnen.

Belangrijke feiten

Bogle wijnmakerij is nu in handen van broers en zussen Warren, Jody en Ryan, die de zesde generatie van de familie vormen die dit land bewerkt. Het trio wil het landgoed graag in topconditie doorgeven aan de volgende generatie Bogles en daarom zetten ze zich in om aan de strenge Californische regels voor duurzaamheid te voldoen en de Certified Green status voor hun druiven te bereiken.
