UPS was verschrikkelijk. Eerst gaven ze de verwachte bezorgdatum door, en daarna lieten ze mijn vrouw de hele dag wachten, om uiteindelijk zonder enige waarschuwing (!) niet te bezorgen. Pas de volgende ochtend lieten ze weten dat de verwachte bezorgdatum was gewijzigd (!) en deze keer ging het wel goed. De hele dag verspild, geen mogelijkheid om de koerier te bellen. Vreselijke ervaring! Arrogante klootzakken.

Geschiedenis

Antica Fratta werd halverwege de vorige eeuw opgericht door een koopman genaamd Luigi Rossetti die betoverd was door het lokale landschap rond Monticelli Brusati en besloot de bestaande boerderij op het landgoed om te bouwen tot wijnmakerij. Rossetti creëerde ook een van de unieke kenmerken van het landgoed, de 1,7 km aan kelders die in de rotsen zijn gegraven en zijn opgesteld in de vorm van een Grieks kruis. In 1979 werd het wijnhuis gekocht door Franco Ziliani, wiens familie een van de beroemdste namen in Franciacorta is.
