Ideaal gelegen in het hart van de regio Verona, op de heuvels van Bardolino, wijdt het wijnhuis van de familie Zeni zich sinds 1870 aan de teelt en productie van klassieke Veronese wijnen. Het bedrijf beslaat 60 hectare eigen wijngaarden en werkt samen met andere lokale telers om de productie te integreren. Het bezit twee kelders, een in Bardolino en de andere in Valpolicella, en sinds 1991 een wijnmuseum dat meer dan 100.000 bezoekers per jaar ontvangt.

Zeni Corvar Rosso Veronese is een blend van Corvina Grossa en Cabernet Sauvignon. De druiven, handmatig geselecteerd en geoogst, zijn afkomstig van wijngaarden gelegen op een heuvelachtig terrein van morene oorsprong en een bruinrode bodem van vulkanische oorsprong. Na de oogst laat men de druiven licht drogen en vervolgens 2 tot 3 weken macereren. De uiteindelijke wijn rijpt 12-18 maanden in Franse eikenhouten barriques.

De wijn heeft een diepe robijnrode kleur met granaatreflecties en de neus onthult aroma's van rijpe bessen en bloemen met tonen van zoete specerijen. In de mond is het een warme en krachtige wijn, fluweelzacht en harmonieus. De afdronk is lang. Dit is de perfecte wijn om te combineren met wild en stoofschotels met rood vlees.
