    Het aankoopproces en de productkeuze zijn goed, maar de bezorgservice met UPS is ellendig. Ik zal helaas niet meer kopen vanwege de bezorging door UPS die zich nooit aan datum/tijd houdt en een vals excuus geeft dat ze afwezig zijn terwijl ik er was en een vrije dag heb genomen om er te zijn.

    Condado de Haza is het tweede landgoed, in de Ribera del Duero, van de familie Fernandez Rivera, eigenaars van Tinto Pesquera. Momenteel heeft het landgoed een uitbreiding van ongeveer 200 hectare beplant met Tempranillo wijngaarden, aan de oevers van de Duero rivier. De wijngaarden, die sinds 1987 worden verbouwd, liggen binnen de grenzen van de gemeente Roa, op 811 meter boven zeeniveau, op een bodem van zand en leem.

    20 Aldeas is de nieuwste aanwinst van Bodega Condado de Haza, een 100% biologische Tempranillo monovarietal geproduceerd en gerijpt in Amerikaanse eikenhouten vaten. De druiven komen van planten met een leeftijd van ongeveer 30 jaar, gelegen in de gemeente Roa en La Horra, op een hoogte van meer dan 800 meter.

    De wijn heeft een kersen kleur met paarse reflecties. Het aromatisch profiel is intens en complex, met tonen van zwart fruit en een vleugje zoethout, typisch voor het ras Tempranillo, gevolgd door geroosterde tonen als vanille, koffie-karamel en rokerige hints van rijping in Amerikaanse eiken vaten. Het is een krachtige en volle wijn met een opmerkelijk evenwicht tussen ronde tannines en zuren. De persistentie in de mond is lang en aangenaam met tonen van koffie, zoethout en karamel. Drink hem bij lamsvlees of gegrild rood vlees.
