Drink hem nu of bewaar hem tot 10 jaar. Decanteren is niet nodig, maar je kunt hem het beste een half uur voor het serveren openen.

Gelegen in Tomasov, in de regio Bratislava in het zuidoosten van Slowakije, werd het wijnhuis Miro Fondrk opgericht in 2008 en vervolgens uitgebreid en gemoderniseerd in 2015. Het bedrijf produceert een reeks voordelige wijnen, maar hun specialiteiten zijn rode wijnen en wijnen van de edele Slowaakse druivensoorten Hron en Nitria.

De Pinot Noir druiven komen van de Rúbaň wijngaard, gelegen onder een kleine heuvel, in de zuidelijke Slowaakse wijnregio. Na een zorgvuldige selectie van de trossen en een handmatige oogst laat men de druiven 3 dagen weken bij een lage temperatuur. De maceratie wordt gevolgd door gisting in vaten van 1000 liter. De afgewerkte wijn rust vervolgens 18 maanden op de droesem.

Deze elegante Pinot Noir Private Reserve van wijnhuis Miro Fondrk heeft een rijk en breed aromatisch profiel met tonen van rijp rood fruit zoals framboos en aardbei, gevolgd door aromatische kruiden en balsamico toetsen. In de mond is hij fruitig en sappig, rond en geconcentreerd, met een gemiddelde body en een levendige zuurgraad. De tannines zijn fluweelzacht en de afdronk is lang en fruitig. Het is de perfecte wijn bij eend, gans en ander vederwild.
