Gesticht door de Noorse miljardair Alexander Vik in 2004, is Vina Vik een waar passieproject in de ongerepte Millahue Vallei in Chili. Vik droomde ervan om hier in Chili een wijnhuis van wereldklasse te stichten en bracht een getalenteerd team van wijnmakers en druiventelers samen onder leiding van Patrick Valette, wiens familie eigenaar is van het beroemde Château Pavie in Bordeaux. Het wijnhuis produceert nu een handvol uitzonderlijke wijnen van zijn 900 hectare wijngaarden en verkoopt druiven door aan andere wijnhuizen.

La Piu Belle of "de mooiste" is genoemd naar een godin die wordt vereerd door de inheemse bevolking van de Millahue-vallei en die voorkomt op het opvallende flesontwerp dat is gemaakt door kunstenaar Gonzalo Cienfuegos. De wijn is samengesteld uit Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Cabernet Franc, Merlot en Syrah en rijpt 21 maanden in eikenhouten vaten voordat hij wordt gebotteld en vrijgegeven.

Het resultaat is een rijke en krachtige rode wijn die barst van de sappige tonen van donkere bessen en toetsen van zoete specerijen, zoethout en pure chocolade. De eerste slok onthult een volle body, stevige tannines, een goed ontwikkelde structuur en een zeer lange afdronk die dit een geweldige aanwinst voor de kelder maken voor nog minstens tien jaar rijping.
